As we all know, Apple has payed Google to get Siri to be good. This means that Apple has lost the AI race. bummer I know. but now some BIG leak comes out. Siri will have…… a chatbot?
As far as we know, apple will announce a chatbot at WWDC 26(where apple announces new tech) and will be the staple for iOS, iPadOS and macOS while aslo releasing on visionOS and tvOS. It is their way to One-up ChatGPT.
Currently, Siri is known for just being bad. Sure it can say it’s name, but a simple back and forth conversation or a complicated question would shake it up and say weird things. Based on the leaks, it should be able to do that and more! Stuff it will do is:
- Search the web for information
- Generate images
- Generate content
- Summarize information
- Analyze uploaded files
- Use personal data to complete tasks
- Take information from emails, messages, files and more
- Analyze open windows and on-screen content to take action
- Control device features and settings

Search for on-device content, replacing Spotlight
These are just some of the things it could do and we are getting really excited. there is this one problem though.
Not an App?
Leaks say that it would not be an app you download, but something else entirely. The problem with this is that it might not be able to record chat history and let you chat with older chats. Ideas to fix this is:
- Be an interface like app that takes over the screen and let’s you type there. Could be good but comparing to how Apple works, this would not work.

Record the chats on Notes and then read them there. This seems quite better.
But hold up! there is a bright side to this.
The leaker might mean that it won’t only be an app which means it would have a dedicated app for it. That would be much better and it satisfies a lot of before angry people.
