Final Fantasy is a popular string of Pokémon like games that are very popular. They were made quite a while ago, which means they need remakes. and now, after a very long time of waiting(not that long), a Final Fantasy 9 remake might finally come out! Let’s take a look!
This year is Square Enix’s 25 anniversary and they made a website for Final Fantasy 9 which seems very weird to just randomly do.
There was also a leak in 2021 where remakes now released were shown. All have been released except a few. Final Fantasy 9 is front of the list.
Unlike other remakes, this should be an only updated graphics game and should just be the game but shaded and updated a little rather then starting from the ground up.
The only problem is that with the leak being so long ago, people believe that it might not happen at all which is scaring a lot of people. I don’t think much of that leak though.

Apparently it won’t have a huge budget so we won’t be getting a BIG game but still something very enjoyable and fun. The animation style will be vibrant and colourful with a fairy tale aesthetic.
The original game looks decent but is also very pixelated. all the graphic changes should be very big for the game.

Final Fantasy IX is finally getting a long-awaited remake, coinciding with Square Enix’s 25th anniversary and a new dedicated website. Nothing is confirmed but it will probably happen based on all the leaks going around.
