Oh flip!

The Galaxy Z flip 8 is already in conversation.

Only a little while ago, the Galaxy Z flip 7 showed everyone that they were serious with what they are doing. 7 generations of a flip before Apple can make a foldable is wild. People are now talking about the 8th generation.

All of the reports are showing of a lighter phone, possibly being only 150g. It might also have a thinner hinge with not as much crease and a brighter screen to make up a very good screen.

The camera will probably be the same as last year and the year before. It seems that this year they will be focusing on software rather than camera. It does feel a bit sad not having a better camera but the camera is already good.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 will also have a minor upgrade on the battery side with around 4,300mAH and faster charging. Pretty good battery for a flip phone if that leak is true!

Here are some things it will have:

• Slimmer and lighter design that actually feels futuristic

• Massive 120Hz foldable display for super smooth scrolling

• Bigger cover screen that can finally run proper apps

• Brand-new flagship chip with serious power

• Upgraded dual cameras for sharper photos

• Bigger battery that should last all day

• One UI 8 with smarter Galaxy AI features.

This is all looking really cool! There is just one problem though.

Pieces for smart devices are rising due to AI becoming too good now(read next about the AI website) and other things. That means that all of the smart devices, including the Samsung devices, will have their price go up.

Here is a recap of what we talked about.

The Galaxy Z Flip series keeps moving fast, with the 8th generation already creating buzz after the Flip 7 showed how serious Samsung is about foldables. Early leaks point to a lighter, thinner design with a smoother hinge, brighter display, and a stronger focus on software improvements rather than major camera upgrades. The battery could see a small boost with faster charging, while performance and AI features are expected to improve again. The only real concern is rising AI-related component costs, which could push Samsung device prices higher. 🚀
