CameraPods

Apple is now apparently making AirPods with CAMERAS which sounds crazy.

It is well known how successful the AirPods have been. Everywhere you go, there is probably someone with AirPods and maybe even 10 people have it. In 2024, Apple sold 66 MILLION AirPods. That number is crazy.

And now, reports are saying that there will be AirPods with cameras in them. It seems crazy but could genuinely be real. Lets dive in!

The reports show that in 2027, we will have AirPods with cameras. Why do they think this? Because these two people started talking about having those be a thing. The thing is, these people are normally right.

They should be located right next to where your ear goes. It will be for taking pictures or videos of things at human height or recording first-person videos.

Here are some things it should have:

Tiny built-in cameras that can see and understand your surroundings

• Gesture control so you can skip songs without touching anything

• Advanced spatial audio that reacts to where you look

• Smarter AI features that adapt in real time

• Deep integration with future Apple AR products

• Improved awareness features for navigation and everyday tasks

• A major step toward fully AI-powered wearables

With all these things, the AirPods should be more than just music.

These AirPods could apparently help your Apple Vision Pro with tasks like spatial audio. A thing like this could really help Apple in lots of ways and is pointing them into the direction of smart glasses without having to make a whole new product.

There are downsides though. They could have security breaches, too high price, not much use and not as much battery. I still think these could be really good even with all these limitations.

Here is a recap of our conversation.

AirPods have been hugely successful, with 66 million sold in 2024, and now reports suggest a camera-equipped version could arrive around 2027. Trusted insiders say they may include tiny cameras for first-person photos and smarter AI features, plus deeper integration with devices like Apple Vision Pro. While there are concerns about privacy, battery, and price, this could turn AirPods into far more than just music devices.
