You might know that Apple is having it’s announcements for major items. There will be iPads, MacBook pros with M5 pro and max chips and……… the iPhone 17e. Let’s go have a look!
After making the iPhone 16e last year, it has been announced that Apple is having a “special experience” which will have new products announced. The e version of iPhones are to make a phone that you don’t need a lot of money for, like the Nothing phone 4a.
It seems to have a chip called an A19 chip. It is very powerful and could make it a great phone. It will also be able to do magnetic wireless charging.
Here are some things it should have:
- A19 chip that makes everything feel crazy fast
- MagSafe so your phone finally snaps onto cool accessories
- Dynamic Island instead of that old-school notch
- Better selfie camera for clean TikToks and Snap streaks
- 48MP main camera that still goes hard
- Faster 5G so your downloads don’t take forever
- Bright 6.1″ OLED screen that looks insane
These upgrades could make it more than just a budget phone. It could be a big success.
It apparently will look pretty similar to how it did last year with the one camera and the rounded shape. The OLED will be decently better though.
The selfie feature still seems a mystery though. Some reports say it will be the same, some say it is better, and so on. I think that there will be a slight improvement to the selfie mode. probably close to the 17 pro.
Pricing will be about $599. That seems like a lot until you realise that the iPhone 17 pro is about $1500!! That is R25 thousand! A great phone if you do not want to spend a LOT of money.
