Last month, I talked about Pokemon gen 10. I said how it would be called Pokemon wind and wave. It would be announced on Pokemon Day and would be only be on the Nintendo Switch 2. Time to see what I got right!
At the end of the Pokemon day direct they briefly announced gen 10. I was shocked when I saw Pokemon winds and Pokemon waves.That meant I got it right! I also got the fact that It would be a a Switch 2 only game right. Even the tropical idea was right!
Although I did get some things wrong. You are not a boy/girl on vacation, I got the starters wrong, there might not be voice acting and other things. I still feel like I got a decent amount of things right.
Let’s have a look at the Starter pokemon(we do not know the evolutions of these Pokemon)!
First we have Pombon, the puppy Pokemon. This is a cute dog that is the fire starter of the games and is very VERY cute! It’s description says “The area below its throat glows faintly from the heat-generating organ within its lungs. This Pokémon is guileless and friendly.” It will be a good option to choose.
Next we have Gecqua, the water gecko Pokemon. Obviously it is the water type and it looks like a blue frog/lizard. It’s description says “Gecqua launches springy balls of water from its tail. Gecqua is very intelligent and maneuvers shrewdly while putting on airs.” An icon in the future.
Finally we have Browt, the bean chick Pokemon. It is a chick that is green and it’s eyebrows are leaves that for some reason are on it’s head. It’s description is “This adorable bird Pokémon runs about energetically while photosynthesizing using the leaves on its brow. It’s lively, but it can also be a bit clumsy.” It will be fun.
It will be released in 2027. I think the reason they announced it now is because of BallGuy leaking all that stuff.

I predicted Pokémon Gen 10 would be called Wind and Wave, announced on Pokémon Day, and be exclusive to the Switch 2 — and most of that was right. The games were revealed as Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves with a tropical theme and Switch 2 exclusivity, and the starters were shown: Pombon the cute fire puppy, Gecqua the clever water gecko, and Browt the energetic grass chick. I got some details wrong like the story and voice acting, but overall I still feel like I made some solid predictions.
